i'm dave, your safari planner.

And I’m here to help you experience an authentic African safari.
An experienced guide to a life-changing place
meet your guide

Thirty years ago, I joined my first safari, and it was the start of a lifelong connection to Africa.
Over the decades, I’ve returned again and again — traveling, photographing, learning from local guides, and building trusted relationships that now form the backbone of every safari I plan.
Early in my career, I worked on complex projects that required clear thinking and effective communication. That discipline carries directly into how I plan safaris today. An itinerary isn’t just a list of camps and flights; it’s a sequence of experiences that should flow naturally from one to the next.

Travelers need real information, honest expectations, and someone who knows the terrain inside and out.
Today, I design safaris for people who want more than a quick checklist of sightings. They want connection, wonder, comfort, and the kind of moments that stay with you long after the luggage is unpacked.

Always personal. Never packaged.
My approach
My process is built on preparation, partnership, and respect for your time and curiosity.
Long before you ever buy a single plane ticket, we’ll spend plenty of time discussing everything you want to experience, and I’ll help you understand exactly what to expect. At every step, I’m your guide and your planner.
Whether you go on custom safari or join a scheduled safari, here’s what that looks like when we’re planning a safari together.

Smart Itinerary
I’ll plan and build an itinerary that covers all the details, meets your dream list, and eliminates unexpected bumps and surprises.

Real Experience
No rushed sightseeing and zero staged photo ops. I prioritize authentic experience throughout every part of the safari.

End-to-End Logistics
I handle all the logistics from end-to-end, and this means you’ll have plenty of time to experience all of Africa’s magic.
Real words from safari travelers
Unplug from the busy life. Step into the wild.
